Bacon-Wrapped Jalapeno Poppers

  • 8 jalapeno peppers, halved lengthwise and seeds removed
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 8 slices bacon, cut in half crosswise
  • Toothpicks


  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together the cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and onion powder until well combined.
  3. Fill each jalapeno half with the cream cheese mixture.
  4. Wrap each stuffed jalapeno half with a half slice of bacon and secure it with a toothpick.
  5. Place the bacon-wrapped jalapeno poppers on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the peppers are tender.
  7. Remove the toothpicks before serving.
  8. Serve the bacon-wrapped jalapeno poppers as an appetizer or snack. Enjoy!
