Sausage Breakfast Casserole

  • 1 pound sausage (your choice of flavor)
  • 6 slices bread, cubed
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 green onions, chopped


  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned and cooked through. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Place half of the bread cubes in the prepared baking dish. Top with cooked sausage and shredded cheese. Add the remaining bread cubes on top.
  4. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, salt, black pepper, dried mustard, and paprika. Pour this mixture evenly over the bread, sausage, and cheese in the baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle chopped green onions on top of the casserole.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes or until the casserole is set and the top is golden brown.
  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
